Join Lorene Phillips, Mistress of Ceremonies, and composer/writer Susan Stoderl for champagne, repartee, and song. Appearing in this contemporary musical salon will be sopranos Ilya Speranza, Tracy Bidleman, Anna DiRubio Schumate, Gretchen Mundinger, and tenor Stephen Wilson. Chamber16 Players include Barrett Cobb, flute; Gabe Smith, violin; Leah Coloff, cello; and Mary Bopp, piano. Works to be performed include: Songs from a Jade Garden, Prairie Girl: circa 1955–67; Earth Walking, Soul Longing; and The Ghost of Mary.

Although Ms. Stoderl was a musician for most of her life, she did not study or take up composition until the age of fifty. This concert marks the celebration of her first ten years of composition.
